The problem with a slow website

Almost every hotel search starts on a phone. If your site is slow to show the first photo, the guest goes back to Booking, which loads instantly, and books there with a commission.

On top of that, Google and AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity read your site to decide whom to recommend. If they can’t tell who you are, where you are and what you offer, they recommend someone else.

And between the room photo and the book button there are usually too many steps: pop-ups, long forms, an engine that opens in another tab. Every extra step is a guest who leaves.

Four fronts so your website sells.

  1. Mobile speed. A fast mobile site loses fewer guests before they see the rate.

We measure how your site loads on real phones and go after what slows it down: images, fonts and third-party scripts.

  2. Technical SEO. Google and AI assistants understand who you are, where you are and what you offer.

Schema markup for the hotel, its rooms and its location, with the sitemap and crawling in order: Google and AI read your hotel without guessing.

  3. Booking path. Fewer steps between the room photo and the book button.

We walk the path from the home page to the booking engine and remove friction: fewer clicks, fewer fields and the price visible sooner.

  4. Ready for AI. Your hotel is ready for AI assistants to query it and recommend it.

Content and data that AI agents can reach when they search, compare and book on the traveler’s behalf.

How we do it, whether we optimize your website or build a new one.

  1. Analysis. We test your website on real phones and read it the way an AI does.

We check speed, the steps to the booking engine and what Google and AI assistants understand about your hotel. The result is a list of fixes, ranked by the bookings each problem costs you.

  2. Architecture. We organize the pages so every search finds its answer.

One page per room, per experience and per destination, linked to each other. Whatever already ranks on Google is kept with redirects, so you don’t lose what you’ve earned.

  3. Build. If your website stays, we optimize it. If it needs rebuilding, we build it.

A new website is delivered only when it meets measurable conditions: a score of 90 or more on Google’s mobile speed test, verified redirects and complete structured data.

  4. AI test. Before handover, we ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity about your hotel.

We check that they find you, cite your website and let a guest go from their answer to a booking in two clicks. After launch, we track the visits that come from AI every month.

Why we don’t use WordPress

When we build a new website, we don’t use WordPress. A hotel website has one job: a guest arriving from Google or Instagram sees the photos, finds the rate and books before going back to Booking.

That job depends on speed, and that’s where WordPress falls short. Fewer than half of WordPress sites pass Google’s user-experience metrics (Core Web Vitals) on mobile, according to real-user data from HTTP Archive. Themes, page builders and plugins load code the page never uses, and every second of waiting is a guest who ends up booking on an OTA, with commission.

Our websites are published as ready-made pages: they load fast on mobile, and your team can change text, photos and rooms without touching the design. If your website is already on WordPress, there’s no need to throw it away: we optimize it and decide with you whether it’s worth rebuilding, always outside your high season.

What happens when Google and AI finally understand a hotel’s website.

Within the methodology

Technology belongs to the execution step of our methodology: it’s what turns visits into direct bookings.

It receives traffic from Hotel marketing: every ad needs a website that loads fast and reaches the booking engine in a few steps. In return, it gives Data a website that can be measured end to end, and gives Revenue Management a channel of your own where every night sells without commission.

A fast website with nobody sending guests to it stays empty, and a good campaign that lands on a slow website hands the booking to the OTA. That’s why we recommend adding all four pillars, with the same team, for less than two in-house hires would cost.

Frequently asked questions

What does a hotel website need to sell direct?

To load fast on mobile, show the rate early and reach the booking button in a few steps. If the first photo takes too long, the guest goes back to Booking, which loads instantly.

Do I have to rebuild my website?

Not always. First we measure it on real phones and read it the way an AI reads it. If it can be fixed, we optimize it; if it is better to rebuild it, we decide together and do it outside your high season.

How does my hotel show up in ChatGPT or in Google’s AI answers?

AI assistants recommend the hotels they understand: who you are, where you are, what you offer and what it costs. That comes from structured data for the hotel and its rooms, clear content about your destination and a fast website. Before handing over a website, we ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity about your hotel to check that they find it.

Can I change text and photos myself?

Yes. Your team changes text, photos and rooms from a simple dashboard, without touching the design or relying on a developer.

How it starts

The assessment is free: you answer a few questions about your hotel and see right away where your technology stands, along with the other three pillars. Then, if you like, we walk you through it in 15 minutes.
