The challenge
When we started working together in June 2026, Lo Sereno’s website kept slipping down Google’s results for no clear reason and barely showed up in the AI answers Google displays above the results. Any guest who couldn’t find it could end up booking on Booking.com, and that booking cost the hotel a commission. The website and the pricing needed fixing at the same time.
The solution
We relaunched the website on July 9. The next day we fixed an error that kept Google from properly registering the pages, and within twelve days the site was back where it had been. On July 22 we launched a seasonal, per-room rate plan with price floors, so that no night would sell below what it is worth. In September, the hotel introduced a new cancellation and deposit policy. In three months, the brand appeared about 2,800 times in Google’s AI answers. Filling more nights does not help much if each one sells for less: from July 1 to September 20, revenue rose 113% and the average nightly rate rose 44%.
